Fili is a self-taught artist whose journey began in the digital world and found new life behind prison walls. Blending his early love for technology with a newfound passion for painting and drawing, he creates art that reflects resilience, transformation, and the raw beauty of lived experience.
My Story
Fili’s journey into art began long before he ever held a paintbrush. As a teenager who moved to the U.S. in his later years, he found himself drawn to the energy of Los Angeles. It was there, surrounded by the city’s color and chaos, that he discovered his first creative outlet—computers. From digital design to experimenting with graphics, technology became the bridge that connected his imagination to the real world.

But life took a different turn when prison entered the picture. Suddenly, screens were replaced with sketchpads, and software with pencils and brushes. Fili began translating the same precision and vision he once brought to digital art into hand-drawn pieces, teaching himself to create vivid works that carried raw emotion and unfiltered honesty.
